My passion for writing led first to a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and then a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.

I submitted a lot of fantasy stories and novel excerpts to writing workshops in college and grad school. Some of my professors didn't care for it, while others were completely on board.

NOVELS

I am trying to get my start as a published fiction author. I am seeking a literary agent interested in partnering with me on what I hope will be a lifelong career.

Even as I try to get a finished manuscript published, I find that ideas for novels keep coming.

Both novels shown here have complete, polished manuscripts that are not currently available to readers, although they are available to literary agents upon request.

I would love to get both novels published, as well as many more novels published further down the line.

NONFICTION and COPY WRITING

My nonfiction features have appeared in print in Overture Magazine, TravelHost South Louisiana, Texas Books in Review, 008 Magazine and The Acadiana Gazette. My nonfiction features and copywriting articles have appeared online in the literary journal Front Porch and on other websites. Most of the articles originally appeared in print, but archived copies of the magazines are available online.
